Emil Metodiev
Emil Metodiev is Country Manager at Roma for Democracy. He manages and administers RFD’s country development initiatives, coordinating programme implementation, institutional relationships, communications, and continuity between field activity and organisational strategy.
Emil brings more than 20 years of experience in civil society, local development, international cooperation, and communications. He has managed civic education programmes, public campaigns, professional exchanges, and transnational networks across Europe and the United States, using photography, video, and field-based storytelling.
Emil holds a degree in Business Administration, studied Photography at New Bulgarian University, and completed executive training in Digital Marketing at Columbia Business School.
At RFD, Emil connects programme priorities, institutional partners, participants, and public narrative. His work ensures that country initiatives are administered consistently, relationships are sustained, and developments from the field are communicated back into programme decisions and institutional strategy.
